Our Story
đź’« Meet the Founder: Shane Dari
Neaty was born from a life shaped by transformation. Its founder, Shane Dari, was adopted by new immigrant parents from Iran just before the 1978 Revolution, and raised in a warm, loving home in Woodland Acres, just north of Toronto. His mother, Floria, had a gift for creating beauty through order—an energy that naturally inspired Shane. As a child, he would spend hours rearranging his room while his parents were out, instinctively understanding that clarity in your space creates clarity in your life.
After earning a degree in psychology from York University, Shane moved to London, England, where he began his career in property management—a path that would take him into over 3,000 homes across the UK and Canada over the next 18 years. From penthouses to hoarded apartments, Shane has seen it all—and helped turn chaos into calm.
As a cancer survivor, Shane knows firsthand how deeply our environments affect our emotional and physical well-being. He believes tidying isn’t about perfection—it’s about habit, healing, and hope. Neaty exists to help people reclaim their space with compassion, care, and a system that sticks. With the right support, anyone can transform their life—one drawer, one room, one story at a time..
